1. Introduction

Connected Living Pros (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides smart home installation, troubleshooting, consulting, and related services throughout the Northwest Metro Atlanta area. By booking a service, visiting our website, or communicating with us, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Scope of Services

Connected Living Pros provides:

  • Smart home device installation and configuration

  • Wi-Fi and network optimization

  • TV mounting and home entertainment setup

  • Camera and video doorbell installation

  • Smart lighting and LED projects

  • Troubleshooting and enhancement services

  • Maintenance plans

  • In-home and remote technical support

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time.

3. Customer Responsibilities

By scheduling service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your devices, home setup, and project details

  • Ensure safe access to the installation or troubleshooting area

  • Confirm you have permission to perform work at the service location

  • Secure pets and ensure a safe working environment

  • Back up important data on computers or smart devices before service

We are not responsible for lost data, pre-existing issues, or device failures unrelated to our work.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing is based on “starting at” rates and may vary depending on complexity, time, and materials.

  • Final pricing is confirmed during or after the on-site assessment.

  • Payment is due at time of service unless otherwise agreed.

  • We accept major credit cards and online payments through Square/Squarespace.

  • Deposits may be required for large projects or custom work.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand schedules change.

  • Appointments canceled within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee.

  • If the technician arrives and cannot access the property, a trip fee may apply.

6. Warranty & Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind our work.

  • Installation workmanship is guaranteed for 30 days from the date of service.

  • This warranty covers labor defects only.

  • It does NOT cover:

    • Customer misuse

    • Changes to the home environment (Wi-Fi changes, power issues, other installs)

    • Device defects or manufacturer failures

Device warranties remain with the manufacturer.

7. Limitations of Liability

Connected Living Pros is not liable for:

  • Device failures, malfunctions, or manufacturer defects

  • Wi-Fi limitations due to ISP equipment, internet speeds, or environmental interference

  • Customer-provided equipment that is outdated, incompatible, or defective

  • Data loss, app issues, or account access problems

  • Damage caused by pre-existing structural, electrical, or wiring issues

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed.

8. Safety & Installation Conditions

We may decline service if conditions are unsafe or if performing work could damage property.
This includes—

  • Unstable mounting surfaces

  • Hazardous electrical setups

  • Pest infestations

  • Water damage or mold

  • Unsecured pets

9. Customer Accounts & Third-Party Services

We may assist with creating or configuring accounts for devices such as Ring, Nest, Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit, SmartThings, etc.
You agree:

  • You are responsible for your passwords

  • You maintain control over your accounts

  • You are responsible for reviewing and accepting third-party terms

We do not control or guarantee third-party app functionality.

10. Maintenance Plans

If you enroll in a maintenance plan:

  • Plans renew monthly or annually

  • Discounts and priority scheduling apply only during an active subscription

  • Plans may be canceled anytime but are not refunded for unused portions

11. Appointment Satisfaction

If an issue arises:

  • Contact us within 3 days of service

  • We will work to resolve the issue promptly

  • Additional work unrelated to the initial job may require a new appointment

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
